Love the speeches page. I often go back to BP's last message to the scouts and never tire of it. I was interested to see if I could listen to him directly and was made up with your web site. Will have to come back to finish reading. Small comment that schools and youth groups can also now camp on the island, not just scouts and guides. I only mention to help keep the site to a high standard :) |

Please note that, contrary to your article about Gang Shows, it is not the London Gang Show Fellowship that awards red scarves in the UK - rather, it is The Scout Association itself.
Reply: This has now been corrected. A couple of sources I found while doing research for this page pointed to the London Gang Show Fellowship awarding the scarf, which were obivously incorrect. I will in future try to thoughly check my information for future pages and of course where information is found to be incorrect will correct any errors Douglas |

Was a scout in NZ Golden Bay back in the 50's.Became a scout leader in Bulls then ran a scout troop in Lake Alice Mental Hospital as part of Rover Crew.Came to uk was scout leader and district s/l in Eastleigh Hampshire and now Explorer leader in Dundonald Belfast.Still love being involved in the world wide brother hood of scouting and sharing my experiance. |
